We have created two online tools to help members and delegates engage with each other on convention resolutions: Polis and Discourse.
Polis is an easy to use tool that allows you to agree or disagree on short (up to 140 character) political statements. You can also add your own short statements. It is a tool to find consensus on statements, not to debate them.
We have created a polis discussion seeded with short summaries (140 characters) of Convention Resolutions. We encourage you to add other short statements summarizing other resolutions your EDA has submitted.
Discourse is an engagement tool more like Reddit and lets members and delegates discuss and debate resolutions. Think of it as a virtual convent floor with Pro and Con mikes. Each resolution is a separate discussion thread grouped by the 7 policy areas We have populated it with the Top 10 Priority Resolutions in each section at Convention and many other popular resolution that were submitted.
